The Easter Bunny brought some great baskets for the kids, as well as some yummy cadbury eggs for mom and dad. The kids had an Easter Egg hunt. Then a little counselling for my mom (their household is in a very bad way - adding to the post vacation blues!). Then stageman and wife came over for a chinese meal. Sarah and I cooked a couple of recipes from 9 Dragons at WDW. Great meal and company (Good Friday was spent at a Fab science museum with the UKFAN posse). and we were hoping to hook up with Smeds, but last night really put a hitch in that plan. Just before Dinner, Mikey started crying, for seemingly no reason. He said he hurt all over. Then a very high fever came up. So medicine (which is a fight, he hates it) and a tepid bath to the rescue. It at first sounded like the start of meningitis, but no rash thankfully. A very sleepless night of checking on him, and thankfully today, he is much better. Cuddly and lazy, with a slight fever, but much, much better. I'm not often a panicky parent, but last night was scary.

Then a musical interlude featuring various groups and, finally, a Resurrection Day celebration. The blessings of community are wonderful. In the afternoon, we had a family gathering. good food, fellowship, and egg hunting for the small ones. Finished off the day by watching "Emma" on PBS and eating excessive amounts of chocolate.
