Disney would be better served to get rid of all of its real fat (sorry, to any LPers who might be affected) by getting rid of all its consultants ... and Bob Iger really needs to show he has a clue about his product and not simply delegate.

Because right now it appears that Bob is just ego (the routine and choreography behind his visits to WDW are beyond laughable to the point one seriously wonders about his mental health.

I am beyond disheartened with these moves.

It truly seems like all the quality execs have been washed away and what's left is what usually is found in a toilet.

Really. That's about as kind and honest as I can be.

Oh, best of luck Danny boy in your new position.

Seems to me Rasulo is taking the opportunity of the bad economy to move out the management that has issues with his vision, and promote people who are on the same page as him.

I think if the economy were strong, he wouldn't be able to move some of those other people out so easily.

I agree with you to an extent. I don't recognize many of the names talked about, nor probably should I. But for those figures whose positions include representing a particular park or other part of the resort, or resort as a whole, to the public, then I don't think it's at all odd or unreasonable for us to talk about them here.

For example, if Joe Cool was the designated General Manager of the MK, appeared in public ceremonies, was quoted in press releases and interviews, and whose past Disney resume was made public by Disney when he was appointed to that position, then it's not at all unreasonable that we discuss Joe Cool here when talking about the MK. Now, if you're talking about a lower-level manager 3 levels down from him that some people just happen to know the identity of, that's a different matter.

That is a very succinct and accurate appraisal of the situation.
