Now I hear about other people getting $20 off their APs-new ones only. Did I make a mistake and was I supposed to get a discount using the Disney Visa? For 4 of us, it would have been $80 off!

But I haven't heard of any *discount* with the Visa card, and both of these offers are for SoCal ol;y.

Honestly, I don't think the Disney Visa is any great thing except we did use it one day for the stroller. We never made it to the picture thing since it is in the am at DCA-who ever goes there first?!-lol. My first charge was a whopping $600 and I earned a big 6 disney rewards. When I tried to use it in DL for food discounts, the CMs always said NO but then took my AAA card for a 10% discount. Then we finally made a purchase hoping for the 10% off but it wasn't quite $50. I was looking to throw something else in until DH reminded me that the discount is so small, it wouldn't cover the trinket I was adding to get to $50-lol.

Still waiting for my $25 gift card in hopes in comes before our Jan trip but will not be holding my breath-lol. I guess that would be worth having the card for that but from now on I will stick with my Discover or Am EX because they give "real" cash back, not just disney points.

We never finance our trips although I guess it would be good for those who do. I also read that "long" ago, some got discounts at the resort hotels too and that would be nice but not available any more.

I also don't understand why they don't routinely offer more cashback on Disney purchases, like you get with a TJX (Marshall's) Visa card - it's always 5% on stores owned by TJMaxx! Oh well...
