I have my iPhone, iPad, iPods, macbook pro and
iMac that I use everyday and none of them would be here without him.

Most people forget that he was at the start of Pixar too.

I hope he gets a good rest and will return.

I mean no other company is connected so much to its CEO and founder like Apple. The stock price went already a bit down.

I don't have any Apple products except an iPod, but that's it.

Hopefully he isn't so ill and recovers soon. He is a very interesting person, not only because of Apple, but also because of Pixar.

To all the Apple experts here, is it true that Microsoft invested in Apple during the downturn in the 90ies, or is that just a rumour?

Lots of people scoff at Apple presentations -- that their products "just work". But they really do, and they are designed to be intuitive and accessible. Steve Jobs deserves all the credit for pushing his designers to make that happen with each new product.

Not long ago, many were saying that iPads were not a necessary thing, that only Apple fantatics would want one. I think they've sold 25 million of them so far and will likely double that number within a year.

I read an article that a major airline is issuing iPads to the pilots, replacing many pounds of manuals and preflight documentation that had been lugged around, printed, stored for every flight.

    Amazing stuff.
