I haven't personally seen it, but it is supposed to be in a room, and there is a screen on one wall. From there, Crush the turtle shows up and talks to the people (mostly kids) in the audience. It uses voice modifying technology to sound more like Crush, and is supposed to be pretty neat. Since the focus of the show is on interactivity, of course it changes every time, which adds to the repeatability. There is a similar attraction as part of the Living Seas pavilion in Epcot in WDW.

Enjoying the show depends on how responsive the audience is, and the skill of the voice actor playing Crush.

It would help if the theater didn't look like a theater .. and looked more like Sea Base Alpha out of EPCOT's Living Seas pavilion.

Because all of Crush's actions, and lip movements (of course) match those of whoever is providing the voice of crush "back stage".

Must be one extremely sophisticated and advanced computers to pull off live actions - on the spot!

Well you may as well stop praying, as it's due to open in January.

    Another discussion for another time.

But Crush in the Animation pavilion in DCA is quite fitting.

In fact, one drawback I see is that the show has a low repeatability factor for adults without children, and teens. In any case, it's worth seeing at least once.

Oh, I dunno. I like Stitch better because it's personal. When you go to Turtle Talk, the chances are you won't even get to say anything, but with Stitch it's just you in the phone booth with Stitch, so you get a lot of interaction.

I have to say that the person behind hte mic makes a huge difference. Our first Stitch experience was juse awesome. I laughed til I almost cried! the next day when we did it again, it was only so-so, but still amusing. I would totally go back to either as much as I could find time!

Most often, it would entail Stitch heaping tons of abuse on me.

But my favorite time was when one family asked Stitch, "what came first, the chicken or the egg?"

Stitch: Hmm, well, I think the chicken came first. John, what do you think?

Me: Actually, I think it was the egg.

Stitch: (angrily) Why do you disagree with me?

Me: Well, when I go to the supermarket, the eggs are on aisle four and the chicken is on aisle eight.

Stitch: (long pause) You're so wise!

Won't most adults find talking to a hidden CM a bit boring (aside from watching how well the cartoon visual matches the responses of that CM?)

Universal's IOA had a talking fountain/statue that could splash you during the banter - a more low-tech type of entertainment but similar.

And I believe DL has a talking trash can that is somewhat entertaining, especially if the CM operating the device has a good feel for finding unsuspecting or easily surprised guests to play the trick on.
