He must have had some dance training in a previous life because he was balancing plates and glasses on his nose while doing ballet moves (in between microwaving Stitches people had brought to breakfast).

The food was great, and I prefer the skillet meals to buffets because the food seems fresher (I still cry over the end of breakfast at the Garden Grill). We didn't have any problems with our server disappearing. Food, drinks and the check were all brought promptly.

Whose pet peeve is it that 'Ohana's is not Irish? :)

(I actually found a picture, which pretty much showed what you explained...and lemme tell you I would KILL for a breakfast like that here in japan!!!!)

It's still all you can eat though? How does that work? Do you just get another whole plate, or do they bring out like a dish of eggs or some waffles when you ask?

I think I've found a new favorite breakfast place, and I've never even BEEN there! :p

I'm a big breakfast person, and 'Ohana is my favorite, hands down!

If you don't mind me asking, Mr. X, how long have you lived in Japan?

I came to japan for the first time in 1998, and lived off and on (6 months at a time on Disney contracts) till 2000.

In 2001 I relocated for good, and I now have a permanent visa.

And I'm a big breakfast person too! ;)

So, as much as I love where I live, breakfast wise Japan stinks!

And in response would like to say WHOOPS, and point out that I'm a former resident of Hawai'i and that that was a typo. :)
