However I'm happy that the new movie is coming, since it took longer than expected due to MGM's problems.

By the way I've also read the new books which are not from Ian Fleming, but they are not good. An exception is the new book "Devil May Care" by Sebastian Faulks. I liked it, but my dad, who is also a big Bond fan, didn't. I don't say that the new Bond movies are bad, Casino Royale was great, but I still think that Q and Moneypenny are a big part of the Bond universe and so they should still be in the movies. That doesn't mean they should change the tone of the films. The last two movies could be any spy movie, it's just the title that makes it a Bond.

The Pierce Brosnan ones were pretty good too, except for that awful sci fi one with the ice hotel.
