He is 42. This is a guy who loves his Ram Pick up and Ford Bronco, who loves four wheeling and video games (currently playin Diablo)and love the coasters at Magic Mountain. But he is a very mellow guy and doesn't say much about how he feels. We rode many, many things at Disneyland and DCA and he had no comment afterward so when he did say something I know it impressed him. He liked ToT but didn't want to do it agaain. Loved Soaring (we did it four times). Liked Screamin and the Sun Wheel and It's Tough to be a bug and Muppets. Aside from Soarin though the only thing he asked me if we could do agin in DCA was....... Aladdin!!! That one shocked me. In general he thought DCA was okay. Thought the Paradise Pier attractions were too tame but still had fun. He didn't think it felt as "Disney" as Disneyland and that there wasn't nearly enough foliage and greenery. He now wants to go to WDW. :)

I think that the comment that it isn't Disney enough is interesting, since that's what they wanted to do. But like your friend, I would tend to agree that even if it isn't specifically "Disney" things they have, they should still deliver Disney quality, which isn't always the case.

And not Disney enough huh?....Well, of course there is room for improvement. But I think anyone could say that to ANY of Disney's sister parks that arent of the magic kingdom caliber. Disneyland is our base thought of what Disney is supposed to be and feel like.
