I got that text message and forwarded it to my daughter, who I'm sure forwarded it to her friends. As for weather or not In n Out corporate came up with that plan, I tend to doubt it. It would only cause headache and disapointment. Granted it might make sales spike for one day, but the end result would be negative, bad publicity, irate customers, stressed employees, etc. I think In n Out is smart enough to know that one day of increased business by fooling a fan base of customers with a lie is not worth it. Founders Harry and Ester Snyder would turn in their graves, they were honest & integrable people.
