Since my cousin is working inside HKDL he offered me 3 free admission tickets so I decided to go with 2 friends. One of them has been to DCA and the other one has been to Disneyland Paris, after the trip all 3 of us really enjoyed this little park. (one of the reasons was that it is free ) We took MTR Disneyland resort line to HKDL, we went there on Friday. That was a really nice day, the sky was clear and without too much pollution, and that was the only day I could see the clear sky during the 3 weeks in HK. This resort was very nice since I could feel I totally escaped from the reality once I stepped onto the MTR train. This is my 1st visit to Disneyland and I was excited to very thing inside the resort: the themes, the music, Main Street, and all characters!!! I saw many people inside park and then I started worrying the waiting time for the rides, but after we rushed to Space Mountain and then I found that my worriness was ridiculous. There was almost no line up. I loved Space Mountain but I felt that the ride could be made more thrilling, and then we ride on all signature rides like Blizz Light Year and Jungle Cruise and some more, and I really loved them. The fire and water choas at the end of the JC surprised me. We got a lunch inside Adventure Land and then we went to see the shows. I have to say the Lion King and the Golden Mickey shows were awesome, I am into music so that I did notice every single part of each shows, the live music and dance really impressed me, I really hoped I was one of the performers. We turned into really crazy in the Mad Tea Cup, I felt abit sick after that. Philiharmagic was funny, this was the first 3D movie I have seen that I can interact with water and smell, I went to Winnie the Pooh at night because that was the only ride has some line up so we waited to play it at last, we skipped the elephant ride and went to play SM once more, I found that funny that we could see the rail track inside SM when we played at night, and my cousin told me that the SM train went faster at night since the staff wanted to leave earlier.. (dunno if they really can adjust the speed...) Lastly the firework was cool, I have watched it online from Barryford site before so it was not new to me, but it did give me another feeling to see it in real, and we left at around 9pm after we shopped abit, and we did have a good time there. One week later, I went to Tokyo DisneySEA, after that I still felt HKDL is a very nice place. I knew the park is crap for most of LPers. However personally I dont really mind how much rides HKDL offered or how small the park size, what I want to see in there is the Disney atmosphere, theme and decoration, they have already done their jobs. I knew other DL are better than HKDL, but HKDL already satisfied me, On the other hand small in park size is a nice thing for me, since my foot wont suffer, I remember my foot was so suffering when i was in DisneySEA.... I am excited to see HKDL boom and grow after some years. sorry for the long article. hope you guys enjoy it

Playing the 'Glad Game' comes in handy, while visiting a park such as Hong Kong Disneyland. And if you've never been to any other Disney park before this, it's easy to see how it would be a step up from most of your other theme park experiences. We're just hoping a lot more will be added in the near future so you'll have many more reasons to return for even more fun.
