During previous trips in September the weather has been rather hot with the odd rainy or cloudy day thrown in. So light clothing was required is this the same for May. With Tokyo's climate the way it is I suppose I should be prepade for anything.

If you're climbing, bring your warmest winter activewear. If not, still bring something heavy. It's extremely cold around the base of the mountain as well all the time (if you're just going "near", like to the lakes area of Fuji-Q, it might just be cool but not cold).

I'm just hoping weather conditions around the area are in good, I don't wish to visit Fuji for the view to be blocked by clouds.

Don't forget the Tokyo themeparks are by the water's edge of Tokyo Bay... so it gets cold and windy.

But the great part is that around 8pm the park is deserted and it's a great time to go on all the rides - especially JTTCOTE a few times.
