You lose in the playoffs, then the Miami Dolphins are still the "Champs".

You need to go undefeated the ENTIRE season, including the playoffs to claim #1!

They lose to Jags in 2nd round is my prediction.

While the Giant game was a repeat of the Raven game where the Patriots' opponent had a lead late and then self-destructed, I'd love to see the Patriots try and pull this off against the Steelers or Chargers, two teams vastly improved from earlier in the year.

And I gotta say. I want to see somebody punk Rodney Harrison like he does to everyone else. With the game on the line last night, he's still drawing personal fouls costing his team 15 yards. Belichick had the sense to yank him, but it's hotheads like Harrison that will put them in a position to lose. After so many years in the league, the refs are on to him, because usually the retaliation is called. Now refs are calling him, and players are getting away with the retaliation. Collinsworth called his play "garbage" last night, which is entirely accurate.

Same exactly for us. We were at the Rose Bowl and didn't even realize the game was on. We thought it was today, as we're heading out in a few minutes to ESPN Zone in Anaheim to build up a bar tab. We went to a local sport bar here in Long Beach and saw the second half. The crowd was mixed as well. When we sat down it was 28-16 Giants, and by the time the food arrived it was 31-28 Patriots.

How could the odds be against them?

Aren't they favored to completely destroy the competition in the playoffs? What's the spread anyway?

++Page 105 of the 2007 NFL's "Game Operations Manual" states, "No video recording devices of any kind are permitted to be in use in the coaches' booth, on the field, or in the locker room during the game." Belichick stated that he believed that if footage so collected was not used during the game, its collection was legal.++

So there you have it. He misinterpreted the rules and paid dearly for it...so now that's a reason to say their season wasn't significant? I don't buy it.

    Go Pats!
