Through the decor, art work, original artifacts and products served it will celebrate the heritage and tradition of Tequila making in Mexico.<br /> <br /> Guests visiting La Cava del Tequila will have the opportunity to enjoy over 70 types of authentic tequila from several major brands, ranging from the simplest to the rarest of them all, aged to perfection and made from the finest distilled spirits from the Agave Plant.&nbsp; A Tequila Ambassador will be on-hand to educate Guests on the history of Tequila making and its rich Mexican heritage. <br /> <br /> Exotic and unique-blended margaritas will be served introducing a variety of flavored salts, spices and tropical fresh fruits masterfully prepared by experienced mixologists.&nbsp; <br /> <br /> A variety of quick tastes "Tapas style" will be available, including freshly made Guacamole, home fried Fresh Corn Chips , Salsas, Ceviches and Tostadas.</p>

    Sounds great. All of of those different kinds of tequila, I never knew that there were that many. I DH was given a small bottle from Mexico and said it was pretty smooth.

    Is this just for Food and Wine, or is this permanent? I always thought that they did decent business in the restuarants there, so I don't see them replacing what they have. Maybe it will go near the entrance, where the Oxacaan art exhibit is now?

    The tequila bar is going where the jewelry shop was (on the right side of the pavilion when you enter)...I'm assuming so it can share kitchen/backstage facilities with the restaurant. The jewelry shop has already moved over the the left side space which was the kidcot spot the past several years and prior to that a home decor store (most of that merchandise was moved out to the central part of the "plaza" when the store closed).
