BrerAnthony, among other things Department 56 manufactures lighted ceramic buildings, the kind you see on display in peoples homes at Christmas time. There are different "villages", such as Dickens, North Pole, Christmas in the City, Snow Village. I collect the Snow Village series, it's reminiscent of the "50's, lots of nostalgia. I'm so excited Dept. 56 is open, just in time for my April 22nd trip. I enjoy shopping for lighted pieces & accessories when I travel.

The Vegas store is divided up into small sections for the various product lines, as junglejane describes above. I, too, collect the Snow Village series, and appreciate the large display of the SV product line at the Vegas store. (I want the Habitat for Humanity construction project house for my next SV addition.) If the DtD store is like the Vegas store, I'll be quite happy indeed!
