Thursday-I get the 5:30 wake up call my parents tell me to be ready in 45 minutes for pick up since I live 10 minutes from the airport, so that won't be a problem. We check in and there's about a about 1000 or so Badger fans there waiting to catch various flights. The flight was terrific a lot of fun. We played games. Had a few Bloody Mary's(we drank the plane out of Vodka). We arrive in Vegas around 11:30.

We get our luggage and grab two taxis. We then head over to TI. I really like this hotel, friendly staff, really easy to get around. Some of the hotels there are kind of chore to get through. I'm looking at you Excalibur. So we check in take our stuff up to the room. We decide that we want get something to eat and then walk around. So as we're waiting for everyone, my mom throws $5 in a slot machine. One press of the button, $1500 richer.

We then head off too Cesar's Palace. We eat at this deli(name escapes me) in the Forum Shops. But I had this great ruben sandwich. We then walk through the Forum and then cross the street and hit Bill's Gamblin Hall, O'Sheas, Flamingo, Harrah's and Casino Royale. I always liked those casino's. It's about 5:00 so then we head back to TI and get ready to see the Sirens of TI.

Before the Sirens show the Wisconsin Band plays for everyone there. The outside is a virtual sea of Red. Then the Sirens show starts. I've seen the previous incarnation and thought it was pretty neat. I really loved this version. Very well done. And those are some good looking people in that production.

We hang out at the Kauhunaville bar and restaraunt watch the Colts/Saints, then decide to call it a night. I was going to stay out later, but came down with a little stomach flu.

    Next up Friday.

We also hit Mandalay Bay, Luxor and NY NY and then walk back to TI. For about the next four hours we hang out by the pool, which was just packed. Friday night we head down to Freemont, have dinner at Tony Roma's. This is where I do most of my gambling. I played blackjack for about an hour won about $100.
We then head back to the Bellagio to watch the water show. My sister and I decide to stay out a little longer gambling at Casino Royale. I played a game called Blackjack Switch where you play two hands of blackjack, but you can switch the last two cards you get. I then proceed to lose the $100 I won downtown. Not ready to go back yet, we head over to the Palms. We try to get into the Playboy club but I'm wearing shorts so I can't get in. We then head back to the TI about 3:30 and call it a night.

Saturday comes and we hang out at the pool again before we have to leave for the game. We leave on a bus for the game and arrive at a tailgate party. There's about 15,000 at this party. Head up to the game and it's just a sea of Badger red. The game was a little closer than I would like, but a win is a win. We head back to the hotel and are just wiped out.

Sunday we get up, have breakfast, watch the Packer game, head over to the Mirage, go back to the TI and head out to the airport. We have to wait a little bit because the airline doesn't have the passenger list yet. We check in and are walking upstairs to the security gate. We look at this group walking past us. A tall Indian looking dude with long hair. A 6 foot tall blonde with just a scary amount of every kind of plastic surgery. Walking with them, if you know the name Ron Jeremy, congratulations, you're just as depraved as I am. Flight gets back around 11:15 Milwaukee time.

All in all a great time.

(And yep... I'm as depraved as you are... *LOL* Saw RJ once at the Hard Rock while waiting to get into The Joint to see Ringo Starr. But that's not the only place I've seen him. ;-)

The Fontainebleu resort is going up further down towards the Sahara and they're still building more Turnberry condos (on the site of the old Wet 'n Wild water park, too.
