    Supplies might be a good idea if you are spending any amount of time on trains, the stations generally don't have TP.

    Like what TokyoSweets wrote, you won't need to bring any supplies unless you want to use your own wet tissues to sanitize the seats (again, not necessary). Also, toilet covers are available in most locations. Within the hotels, many of the toilets have bidets for "extra cleaning." hehehe.

    Lastly, for washing your hands. Either or both air dryers and paper towels are available in all facilities. -- MagicalNezumi

    Those bidets are freaky as hell the first time you try them (from a guy's point of view), but they do leave you feeling mighty fresh. (Hey, when in Rome ...) And the little fan that removes all the odor from inside the bowl is quite miraculous. You can buy the robot toilets here in the states: about $1500 last I looked, not including installation (and electrical hookup).
