I am going to DL on Dec. 10 thru 14 and need a place to stay on Saturday night when I get there.

The Castle Inn is available and very low priced for some reason. Is it a total dive or great value??

Also, does anyone have any crowd predictions for Dec 11 - 14??

We arrived around midnight, checked in, they gave us a huge room over the lobby, and didn't even charge us that first night!

But, like I said, that was about 10 years ago.

The staff was very accomadating, even when we had to switch around several rooms. And they even let us have a spare room to store all our equiptment in (this was a band trip) at no cost. The rooms were clean, the suits were a fair size and had fridge and microwave. As far as value I would say this was definatly one of the better places we have ever stayed.

I found a rate of $ 59 a night in December, so I think I might stay there on SAturday the 10th, then move over to the Candycane the next 3 days.

    It will be an adventure!
