Well, she proved that a long time ago and we were planning on doing a new family cell plan and having Santa bring all new phones for everyone's stocking this year. Well, that abruptly changed when we found out that our daughter's pay-as-you-go phone's minutes expired! If you don't use them, you lose them! The cost to re-activate the phone would have cost more than the new phone she was going to get from Santa...so, long story short (hmm, its already long story isn't it?!) she is the happy receipient of a new pink razr phone and is ecstatic to say the least! [hahaha, I even wrapped it AND put it under our already decorated tree. She got really excited when she realized there was a present under the tree for her and we were letting her open it NOW] Okay, now that I shared that story, the moral is not to wait to the last minute to find these things out! Can anyone else think of any "last minute" things to double check? We should make a checklist to help remind each other of things! So put your ideas on thread so we can all compile a list! P.S. The good news is, I also got a new phone! It is too cute! Its a little black razr with added pink plaid tattoos, a pink mickey & minnie wallpaper, and a mickey ringtone that talks! It totally is keeping me excited and in the Disney spirit...as if I needed the extra help! hehehe Now, I just need to find a cute Disney charm & strap for it!

LOL...otherwise, I would have waited until the day after Thanksgiving to put it up like I have done in years past when we weren't in DL.

"mickey ringtone that talks" I would love to hear that too! I have both kids suitcases all packed up and then remembered I forgot cute matchy shirts for the Christmas cards! I also forgot the raincoats (just in case) but I guess I have to wait to pack those since they are calling for rain twice before we leave. Gosh the weather report for Anaheim looks so nice, it was hard to pack for them. Their suitcases have everything from shorts to sweats to hats and gloves plus swimsuits-lol! I don't even want to think about packing my stuff-naturally half of it needs ironing BEFORE I can pack it but at least all the laundry is done except for DHs that is running right now! I will still wash and change all the sheets the morning we leave cause that is so nice to come home to clean beds too! Ds is still sick and missed school again but at least we put her little pink tree up in her room, so cute and her room is spotless now. Hope it stays that way for just one more week. This time next week, we will be on the road! What about the ears? Both my kids have been wearing their gold ears for the entire last year and they love to wear them but now that the 50th is over, are they passe? It would be very cool to win the dream ears but I am not going to count on that-lol. I will slip some elastic in the suitcase just in case though, hopeful thinking. Should I pack their ears or leave them home? I did remember their lanyards and to set aside the pins they want to trade. I use the regular backs for those and the locking backs for the "keepers" and that works well. Can't think of much else last minute stuff unless you count all the shopping I want to get done but can't since dd has been sick since Tues and neither one has school tomorrow! Let me know what else you discover so I can check it off my list too. Thanks again Mickeynewe for all of your encouragement. I am so so glad our tree is up and all the decorations are done. It will be a pleasure to come home this year!!

Do you think they knew that?? hehehe Mine says something like, "Hey pal, looks like you've got a call coming in." At this point, I feel like I'm falling farther and farther behind. I have so much work to do this weekend! Wish me luck!! *hugs*
