My wife {who has been GREAT} about going to Disneyland 3 times a year, asked if we could please go to Knott's Berry Farm for a day, so I want to please her. According to www.biddingfortravel.com The hotels that come up for 3 star, Buena Park/Knotts on Priceline are: Knott's Resort Hotel Holiday Inn Buena Park Sheraton Cerritos Woodfin Suites Hotel Cypress Has anyone stayed at these...how far is Cerritos and Cypress from Buena Park? Are there any local coupons out in LA, la land for the Knott's hotel? I'd really like to watch Snoopy tuck in the kids.

Less than adding 1 night at the Hyatt! I stayed at the Embassy Suites on Beach Blvd. and it was a great hotel. It's right next door to Midieval Times.

It didn't even have a sofa bed. They put two rollaways in and thought that was perfectly acceptable. I had booked thru PL.com and pre-paid and they refused to move me to another area hotel at their expense (this was a four night stay) despite a lot of complaining. Finally, after two nights they moved me to a real room (that had plenty of wear and tear as it lost its Radisson flag 18 months ago and is being run by Knott's). Long story short, when I got home I phoned PL, which refunded two of the nights (the ones spent in the room sans beds) but Knott's was very uncooperative since they gave me a pair of breakfast buffets for free they apparently thought that was acceptable for not having beds in a hotel room. I guess I'm saying I wouldn't bid for a room in Buena Park.

Just a BIG heads up on Knotts Theme park though. It's "KNOTT" the Family Park it used to be! I need a Disneyland vacation to recover from it! If you have children there's lots of little carnival like kiddie rides that you stand on the sidelines and watch. Nearly all the [ride-as-a] family attractions have been replaced with mega coasters. If you like big coasters then it's a great Park.
