Not much notice. I guess everybody has rushed to DL today ...

I tend to agree. We haven't been back since 2008. This is just another disincentive for us. But as long as the parks remain packed I fear these huge price increases will remain inevitable.

One day to Universal is $77.

Compared that to one day one park at DL, and it's only $10 less than DL. And the two can't really be compared, IMO.

Yep, I bet nearly 1 million people will pay the increase.
If you want to complain, complain the way it actually makes a business listen. Don't buy the product.
    Otherwise, kwitcherbellyachin.

If you're paying full price at the other SoCal parks, you're a fool or a tourist (but I repeat myself). If you're paying full price at Disney, that's the norm more often than not.

If I'm from out of state coming early next year, and want to visit Universal one day only, how can I get it cheaper than the $77?

I seriously want to know because my son has never been and it's been about 6 or 7 years since we've been there, and might be interested in checking out the new Transformers ride. Haven't decided but it would be something new to throw in the vacation mix.

As a So Cal local I've never used a CP myself, but at some point I may go for the Florida version of it when visiting Orlando.
