This is one of 4 potential projects for MK but right now is looking the most likely to happen (one of the other projects was Incredibles). This ride sucks they need to build something grander for Magic Kingdom.

I'm pretty tall, so the seats weren't very comfortable either. It certainly isn't the worst ride ever created, but if they are going to clone something many many times, they need to make sure that it is a top notch experience, not just something that they can do cheaply and quickly.

If it does come to MK, I just hope it is the filler ride it seems to be and not used to serve as a major new addition.

I haven't been on either the DLP or TDS version of the ride, but they both at least look amusing. They're well themed and look fun. They also don't eliminate any more riders than Space Mtn or Thunder Mtn do. It's not like this is a major coaster.

I really hope that it is themed to Raging Spirits and not Indy because if it was Indy, then we probably wouldn't get a bigger Indy attraction over at MGM.

TSI to Pirate: such a false rumor.

No idea. They are both great source of RUMORS, but they should always be regarded as rumors. Jim Hill is notorious for carefully wording what he reports. In this particular case, he states that Imagineers are "toying" around with putting RS in the MK. It sounds like a reasonable rumor, but far from fact at this point. I think it would be an OK addtion, ONLY if it has no impact on a new major E-ticket for the MK in the very near future.

I have not ridden it since the refurbishing but as far as I know, TDS' Raging Spirits' roughness has been corrected to some degree, making the ride less painful to the body. But I am yet to try to see how true this is...

I'll report back on how RS compares now that the refurb has been done in two weeks. Probably on the Tokyo Resort board. I'm thinking after so many complaints, they toned the roughness down.

Hill's report came out about 12 hours AFTER a source on WDWMagic reported this rumor about Raging Spirits, with some confidence. In fact, a couple of respected sources there (for better or for worse) were hinting that this was indeed the attraction, a week ago.

So my guess is, Hill absorbed this, retooled it in his infamously vague way, and voila! New Scoop from Jim Hill!

My guess is, if they DO import this attraction to WDW, the ride system will have been improved, after learning from the mistakes encountered in Tokyo. I bet we get a really smooth track in Florida, and I bet a little more theming in the experience.

They didn't learn from their mistakes in Paris when it came to the Tokyo version.

I could swear that I heard Raging Spirits was, indeed, loosely based on the Emperor's New Groove. I know it doesn't look like it now, but I think it was in the temple design. I am guessing that you're wanting a more blatant theme.
