Big Thunder Ranch. This time of year you can get a close up view of the reindeer. Other times you can pet the goats. Good times!

Main Street transportation vehicles and the DLRR... two great ways to see things from a different perspective.

You can hop on or off at various locations. Tomorrowland usually has less traffic than the other stations, from my experience.

The Railroad is also a great way to take in an overview of the park, plan your next move, catch a breath.

Tiki Room, Captain Eo or Mr Lincoln. All air conditioned or out of the rain :)

Lunch, dinner or dessert and coffee at the Plaza Inn.

DCA, Bugs Life or brave the lines at Boudins and kick back on the "wharf" while waiting for a fastpass time.

We also like to go to WWS, Naples or La Brea cafe (with PS) to still be close to the parks but away from the masses.

As an adult, standing in a long line causes me to feel as if I'm wasting my life. Perhaps if I could practice guitar in line it would be worthwhile. Will they let me bring a guitar on Space Mountain?

    1. Call someone on your cell phone and very loudly, so everyone can hear, tell them how bad a time you're having in line.
    2. Ignore stares from people in line while doing #1.
    3. Sit on a park bench and stare at all the people in long lines.
    4. Go on something that has no line and is boring. There are a few of these out there.
    5. In California go to Knott's Berry Farm instead. In Florida, take pictures of tourists wearing ridiculous shirts.
    6. Talk about your love life in lurid detail. Of course if you're a solid Disney going APer, you won't have one so make one up.
    7. Talk loudly in line about how much of a Disney expert you are and so on and so on. Then find out how many are just as much an expert as you.
    8. Don't get in line at all. Leave the park and go to a museum instead. No lines at most of those.

One time I rode carrying both a tuba and a french horn. I doubt they'd mind if you brought your little old guitar.
