They hit in October and basically wiped word out, as well as slowing the PC down so it took 1 minute between a click and a response. That will teach me to keep my security updates up to date! I sorted out the trojans and spyware out immediately, but to cure the effects, I knew it would take a couple of days to roll back and restore everrything. We have been limping along for the past couple of months - Sarah and I getting very frustrated (and I've been spending far too long on LP because it would take 30 sec to 1 minute for the screen to load. Well, with the Christmas holidays, I had to take advantage. It also meant it was a good excuse to buy a portable hard drive. Not that I need much of an excuse to buy a techno toy, but they are on sale at PC world!!!! Just need to get the printer up and running today, and then hopefully, it is business as usual.
