I really think since the gas prices have been what they are, that people are saving thier gas and money for food and other needed things.
Have a great day tomorrow and enjoy! Let us know how it was for you. :)

I was there on Sunday (after the SCAPs were allowed in) as well, and there were definately a lot more people in the parks. None of the waits were out of hand (I think Splash was 60 minutes in the middle of the afternoon, and TSMM was 70 minutes around dinner time), but there just seemed to be more people around. It made it a little tough getting through a couple spots, but still not unbearable.

Later, from the top of the Sunwheel of Death we could see that Timon and Pumba was full, but only one "layer" of cars in each row. We thought it was funny that they didn't double up the cars.

We went first to DCA and it was much more crowded on the walkways than it usually is, but not too terrible insane. For the Sun Wheel, the wait for the "fixed" cars was 15 minutes, not too terribly bad at all.

At Disneyland for the afternoon parade, 15 minutes before the parade was to begin the shady side of the street was quite crowded, but the sunny side was EMPTY. We were able to find an empty table at Coke Corner at that time.

Innoventions was more crowded than we have every seen it, really more than is ideal. The stand-by time for Buzz was 30 minutes. When we went into innoventions at 3:30ish Space Mountain was *almost* out of fast passes. When we came out at near 5pm Space was out of fastpasses.

So, to sum up busy yes, insane, no. (I've seen Space run out of fast passes by noon on some truely insane days.)

It was beyond crowded DIRTY employees were super grumpy and unwilling to help. Several places ran outta ice I had bought a souvenir cup for the refills but hot soda was gross! So the whole time I was basicly complaining how DL is a million times better and Walt would roll over in his grave before running outta ice! So now I gotta cash the check my mouth wrote! I PRAY it's not crowded the rest of the park will work it's magic!

DisneyChick...I'm sure you guys will have a blast! It sounds like compared to the day you had at Magic Mountain even a crowded day at Disneyland would be paradise!

I'm thinking a lot of the big crowds will show up next weekend for the holiday weekend and marathon.

Not record crowds but very crowded none the less because of people like me who were blocked out all summer. I saw lines in places I have never seen before. Fast pass line on Buzz Lightyear outside even past the first CM who just looks at your pass. A line for the Tiki Room outside around the corner towards the new Indiana Jones show. Trust me this week was crowded - both parks.

When we arrived in the AM, there were almost no waits (10 min. for Splash, 5 min for HM & Pirates), but by afternoon it was 30-45 min for most popular attractions. I'm sure crowds will drop off dramatically in the next week or so as more schools are back in session.
