    Good Luck !

The only "scary" part of the ride is when the seats lift into position above the screen. The movement is smooth, and the height varies depending on what row you're in. But you really can't see down to the ground as its dark when this happens and once the movie begins, you won't care anymore. It's a gentle ride and you'll especially love the ending, too.

They play a nice movie on the screen. As the movie plays, your giant swing gently moves you towards or away from the screen. Then, they gently swing you back down again.

And then the swing turns into a rollercoaster and there are three inverted loops which then jet you out at 65 miles per hour over a lake, and then a giant drop happens and you feel like the floor has disappeared, because it HAS! Then the dragon comes and you need to know the password ("Walt send me") or he'll eat you up.

Okay, I'm kidding about that last part.

(A normal Ferris Wheel, that is, not the Sun Wheel of Death.)

However, I came THIS close to being eaten by that dragon. Hee hee...

However, my Mother in Law, who did Screamin, Space Mtn, and the other Mtns, with only a bit of trouble, finds this to be the worst one. She really does not like heights, and the flying effects give her some vertigo, I believe.

She just closed her eyes and was fine. : )

My whole family loves Soarin' and my kids have been riding it since they were big enough to go on. So great.
Oh, and I'm afraid of heights which is why I skip the above mentioned rides (except Star Tours), but the heights on Soarin' don't bother me at all.
