But you had to be an annual pass holder to go to the event. I think they were promoting the release of one of those dvd thingies you ducklings are always watching. ORDDU: I recall Mowgli being out for meetings and greetings at the Magic Kingdom in the early 90's. Then he disappeared for whatever reason. But we always loved seeing him. (So what if he didn't fill out a loin cloth in the same manner as my Tarzan. He was still worth seeing...)

Since the whole process takes several hours and many takes, the characters are only out when they're filming their specific segments. Otherwise, the floats are just sitting in staging areas off to the sides, with the characters backstage.
