The "walking texters". Turn off your phones and please look where you are going!!!! I got walked into several times, and only once did I even get a half-hearted apology. Mostly I got a bad look, as if to say "You can see that I'm texting - why didn't you move out of my way?" I will say most were teenagers at the park on school trips (lots of matching t-shirts), but a few looked old enough to know better.

Personally, I COULD NOT imagine texting and playing on some stupid Japanese video game whilst at a Disney park(okay, maybe Walt Disney Studios or HKDL!). There's just TOO MUCH I want to look ta and take in!!!

Lol, I will try to be more aware in the future, and I hope that if I ran into someone in the past I was aware enough to apologize. I haven't been there since last October though, so I'm not guilty in the past week.

Needless to say, I had to point out to her where her missing child was when she finally noticed that he was missing.

And, yes, the t-shirts Friday did say something about music, but I don't remember exactly what it was. Blue shirts. The park was filled with groups all week.

There's a technology incorporated into those devices that many seem to be unaware of - They can actually TALK with the other person. With that technology, their hands can be free for other uses (especially if using a bluetooth earpiece) and their eyes can be used to WATCH WHERE THEY ARE GOING and actually view the environment they just paid a bundle to experience.

I feel like people who are constantly attached to their devices are missing out on the real DL, which is more than just rides, its the whole experience.

Its not only DL. Have you seen groups of people in a restaurant texting on their phone during the entire meal. I dont have a cell phone even after i lost mine. I look like the type who would be a texter but couldnt be bothered.

We do take our phones into the Parks in case we separate but I usually miss calls cuz I am too busy taking in everything I can around me. I do, however, have one call I ALWAYS have to make. I call my daughter in Seattle and say, "I'm in Disneyland; and you aren't!"

Oh, and I am so poor at texting that I have to find a spot to sit if I do need to text someone.
