FELL OFF THE STAGE. I was so embarassed, much more than I was physically hurt. Nothing broken, but pretty bruised. I'll never forget that moment.

I got it as I was getting out of the shower. I haven't had the courage to tell anyone at work how I got the black eye yet. I told them I got it in a bar fight.>>>

I have since been able to tell my husband, my mother and my sister...

and of course all of you.

I was the victim of a whoppee cushion at a party where I knew NO one except my then-boyfriend...and he was one who planted it. Who thinks this is funny? I could see it if I knew everyone, but he KNEW how awkward I was already, meeting new people that were all his friends. Idiot, I hope he's miserable now.

Uhm how does one say this on these boards? A certain female issue in high school...ugh, I hated high school.

I could go on and on, but I am most famous for not being able to eat without spilling food on my blouse. Every time.

My mom does this, we keep teasing her that her breasts won't stop growing if she keeps feeding them like that.

Once in high school, I had a sneezing fit it happened faster than my ability to get my hand or tissue up to my face and well, let's just say I blew a bubble, a really really big bubble out of one of my nostrils. I was a freshman standing in front of senior baseball players.

    Shovel.
    Dig.
    Hole.
    Disappear.

The next gross embarrassing thing to have happen to me is once while living in Chicago my sister and I were both sick with pneumonia. It was horrible. I had taken my sister to the doctor and we needed to stop at the bank so I could pay for her medication. This was before the days of debit cards and ATM's at the register. I was standing in line at an outside ATM and it was very cold. I was like 2nd in line and there were about 6 people behind me. I started to cough. It was one of those bronchitis fits where you sound like Sparky the Seal and you can't catch your breath. All of a sudden a huge pleghm rope came projecting out of my mouth. I swear to God I must have been storing that sucker in my lungs for years. It landed in my hands and all over my coat. I tried to be cool and just turn and walk away to my car. I could feel the tears coming on and as I looked toward the car I could see my sister's face. She was so sick and she was looking at me with an expression that said OMG I feel so bad for you.

I got in the car and I just lost it crying huge big meltdown tears. She just patted me and helped me clean up. We were both crying. I was so humiliated. We just drove home and both went to bed. It was so pathetic.

    LMAO!

I have this sort of hysterical bark that gives students fuel against me for days. When we met our new Disney Freak friends in Dec. we got soaked on Splash and I broke into my laugh. Afterward I said, "Well, now that you know will we still be friends?" It's loud and obnoxious and the laugh god gave me.

Ahh good, it's so good to know I'm not the only one!! I had a particularly bad incident at the Hard Rock Cafe in Orlando, we went there for lunch, and i spilt the equivalent of about a bottle of barbecue sauce down the front of the pale top I was wearing, I then had to spend the rest of the day at the parks wearing the aforementioned top.... So embarassing.

Well, a cough just snuck right out and I proceeded to spray milk all over everyone seated across the table from me. You know when you try to stifle it but it just spurts out anyway? Yeah. It was lovely.

So, at about 5:30 in the morning I got up and decided to surf the net. I decided to go to the band's MySpace to leave note about how great the show was and to thank the musician for posing for a picture with my daughter.

The band had a new drummer playing with them but I couldn't remember his name. I remembered that it started with a C and was about 5 letters. I left a comment about how great he was and then asked if his name was "Chief". (At least I ASKED. LOL)

But, of course, that wasn't his name. He goes by the nickname "Coach". Unfortunately people started calling him that and by the time they did a show in Tucson, quite a few people must have called him that. When the lead singer introduced him , she introduced him as "Coach. Not Chief. Some people have been calling him Chief." She made a joke out of it (for which I am so glad)!

My friend was at that the show and burst out laughing because I had already copped to calling him the wrong name the day after it happened.

It's not like it was a big deal or anything but it still makes me feel like a huge nerd.

Sleep deprivation + public message board = trouble. LOL

Finally I can't stand it anymore and I move to a different car. Sure enough, I can smell it again. I'm checking my clothes to see if I sat in something or if my cat, who had a habit of peeing on people's jeans if they left them on the floor, had struck again.
    Can't see anything.

I get to class, hang my coat over the back of my chair and again I smell it, and a few people around me start whispering to each other if they smell urine somewhere. I go out into the bathroom, knowing it HAS to be somewhere on me. Nowhere to be found.

As I;m walking back to class, I see the back of my jacket hanging on the back of my chair. It was a white Derby jacket

    hopping/Catalog/product_detail.asp?ProductCode=WCM7008</a>

and there is a GIANT yellow stain across the entire back of it. My cat had struck again. I got my stuff, grabbed the jacket, dumped it in the first trash can I passed by and headed for home to shower and crawl in a hole and die.

I don't have any phenomenal stories, but I guess the biggest would be in like 10th or 11th grade when I was walking to the buses after school, I had just nearly reached mine when my backpack just completely malfunctioned. My stuff was everywhere all over the pavement in front of all these buses loaded with kids, and kids walking to the buses. Thank God one of my best friends who rode my bus was on board, saw what happened, and came running off to help me. It was bad enough, but I would have felt like a total 100% loser if no one had come to my aid and I had to gather all my spilled things myself.
