There's some very interesting stuff regarding forcing some 5 party bookings to the Art of Animation Resort, a possible major refurbishment for the Polynesian, upcoming DVCs at the Grand Floridian and River Country area and more. Well worth a read.</p>

As for River Country going away, I wonder if the proposed resort with reserect the old Buffalo Junction plans? Again, could be interesting.

What I'm thinking is that the Poly will get a facelift and a nice huge DVC wing.

I find it amusing that some are suggesting asbestos is an issue. That resort has been rehabbed probably a minimum of five times now from top to bottom, once just 3-4 years ago. If it was an issue, it would have been dealt with then. I also wonder about the timing. As greedy as TDO is with the DVC gravy train, one would doubt they'd be building at GF, Poly and RC/FW all at once ... especially with inventory available at ALL three DVCs that opened in 2009. Not to mention that at some point, you have to add actual attractions and not simply interactive queues and kewl effects at the end of classic attractions that sure would likely sell millions of dollars in image-capture pics. Oh and to the good Dr. Hans, no ... O-Town isn't faring better than Vegas. Disney just isn't going to stop building hotels and timeshares. They are hooked like a junkie and a needle.
