Episodes are greatly preserved, the cases fold out into 6 panels (6 discs---about 33 episodes each set) with terrific artwork in the "background" and on each disc, and each set comes with 2 collector cards and a set guide. The special features are awesome too, with documentaries and commentaries and profiles and more. And at around 30-35 bucks, these are definitely great buys. "I have the powerrrrrrrr!"

The cartoon was never broadcast where we lived, but we weer able to find the videos. When I was a kid, the Masters of the Universe movie was scouting a location near home, and I wanted to be in the movie so bad. Alas, they moved to another state and I missed my one shot at being Billy Barty's understudy.

LOL I remember one year Mom's Fort Knox base had a Christmas party, and all the kids got presents (we didn't realize it until we got there)...mine were the She-Ra villains Mantenna and Leech. I LOVED them, and Mom's female co-workers were grossed out when I would "pop up" Mantenna's eyeballs, LOL. I loved watchin' both toons.

Talk about a looooong afternoon for mom and dad

I wasn't the normal little girl. Yeah, I had Barbies, but mostly, I played with my He-Man & She-Ra action figures. I had Snake Mountain, too (oh, how I loved to play around with that echoing microphone!), and a bunch of the action figures, but I can't remember exactly which ones I had, apart from the Battle Damage He-Man. Oh, I remember I had the one that smelled like a skunk, but I can't remember his name. I loved the cartoon, too (I think my favorite one was the one where it revealed who Teela's mother was). I picked up the first DVD set that came out, the Best of collection, but I haven't gotten the seasons yet. Did any of you watch the He-Man remake cartoon a couple of years ago? I was surprised at the quality; it was an excellent series.

It's I think the 6th episode, on Season 1 Volume 1. And I love how the heavy in that one is Mer-Man, my favorite Eternian baddie. >;-) I saw a bit of the newer series, but I'm a "classic" guy.
Originally Posted By jasmine7 <<Did your He-Man Action Figuress date or did they beat up Barbie?<< Nah, I was a stickler for continuity even then. They stayed in their own little realms. ;-) Yessss, Stinkor! I just couldn't think of his name. That guy used to drive my mom crazy because of the stench.
