He had a really great quote about how he had asked Jimmy Macdonald (the guy who voiced Mickey after Walt and before Wayne) for some advice about doing the voice. Jimmy said something like, "Remember, you're just filling in for the boss." Again, so sad.

Like some of the others have posted, I had the privilege to have met Wayne Allwine and Russi Taylor at the 2004 Big Meet. Heck, I was manning the button table and gave them their name buttons not knowing who they were. When Doobie introduced a very special friend and Russi piped up in Minnie's voice, I was moved to tears of joy as were others in the room.
