This is the first I've heared of this. Anyone know if this is true or is it just a person trying to start something on wikipedia?? I don't see them adding Mickey Mouse Review one becuase it's old and dated and I don't see them being able to pass it off as a new ride. It's also kind of chessey and I don't see today's audiences enjoying it, or WDI wanting to create a AA show. Given these are very dated and not cool by otday's standereds. Plus the building itself is very old and I don't see it accomidatng the show. I think once it leave's tokyo it's gone. unless there adding Philarmagic which would have more validity. I doubt this is true, but anyone know more??

So, it's not like it's out of the realm of possibility that it will be moved to Disneyland (it was originally from WDW, after all)...

Maybe a little game of "kick the can" going on?

    :p

If for no other reason just the layout of Pinocchio's would be all wrong for a stage show like the MMR. They would have to rework that whole side of the castle to make it fit.

Now it is possible that some of the AA figures might come and be worked into the attractions.

It's leaving TDL because it's dated and unpopular, yet they are still able to maintain decent sized crowds at other AA shows like the Tiki Room (whatever the newest version is called) and the Country Bears. DL's Tiki Room has modest-at-best crowd on most days, and all the other AA shows are long gone. If they were to bring one to DL, I would bet on Mr Lincoln due to the history of the attracton and the space it's in, not MMR.

As for getting AA's from MMR, that's a definate possibility. We all know how much Disney likes to recycle AA's from closed attractions (America Sings to Splash Mountain, World of Motion to WDW's Big Thunder and DL's POTC), so it wouldn't surprise me at all. I believe that the Alice that first appeared in the Alice in Wonderland ride (it may still be there) when it was redone with the rest of Fantasyland in the early 80's was taken from the Golden Afternoon scene of MMR shortly after it opened in TDL.

Surely .. if it was good enough for WDW and TDL .. why not a park it was never seen in?

But Pinnochio's Daring Journey is not exactly "old and creeky" and ready to be demolished.

I would love it though .. if Disney figured out a way to show it somewhere at the DLR ..even if only temporarily.

I'm sad I never go to see at WDW. My first ever trip to WDW was just after they closed it. And I've never been to TDL .. so, now, I'm never going to get a chance to see it there either.

And I'm sure there are millions out west here .. who don't visit WDW often enough .. and would like to see the show.

Have the lines for it really been that small in the last few years?

Mr. X? MagicalNezumi? Any of you living in Japan who visit TDL often???

Just how long did they intend of leaving it in the current guise as a place decorating little girls faces with Princess make-up and so-forth?

    Over in DCA ....
they can retire the 19 year old show "Muppet Vision" for this for a couple years .. then do something different for the long term future.

Currently .. there's that auditorium show to the immediate left when you enter the lobby.

    I don't know.

But since the show is going ...
and like Carousel of Progress .....

if it was easy enough to transfer that show from DL to WDW ....
and Mickey Mouse Revue from WDW to TDL...
then the transfer from TDL to DL or DCA for Mickey Mouse Revue is doable.

However the Figures from the Mickey Mouse Review are so cool! I really dont think they have the room for an auditorium show. They would recycle the figures and make a new Dark ride..

As is typical of Wiki entire about Disney, all bets are off that anything can be verified. On the basis of spelling, grammar and syntax, I know where my money would be.

Aside from anything else, there isn't a big enough footprint for the Mickey Mouse Review to fit into the Pinocchio show building. Unless the stage show were somewhat truncated, I can't imagine how it would be wedged into the space.

As others have pointed out, the Mickey Mouse Review is an old style AA stage show. I do wish I had been able to see it. I enjoy the overture, available on the vinyl record set The Magical Music of Disney. Other than that, it's YouTube.
