The closest Disney store is more than 5 hours away. I've been looking online but not finding much. Does anyone have any webpages/shops that they recommend? Or should I just wait til my next park visit?

Because of those experiences, I haven't bought there for over a year now.

Back when I did buy, the quality was always fine - I had one item arrive broken, but that was the only problem I had with the merchandise itself (the later problems I had were with them leaving off my postcode and the item going missing, or leaving items out of my order). The quality was fine, at least as good as the Disney Store in my opinion.

Lately I've been doing most of my buying off eBay as a good fix for between park visits :)

They didn't, it arrived, and had a blemish in a different spot.

I asked for a free return label this time. After all, how much am I supposed to pay to fix somebody else's mistake?

They sent me a good one for free that time.

I pretty much shop mostly from ebay now.

Even some of our new (March 2008) DL shirts are starting to go.

But this is not unique to Disney. It seems in the economy we live in, this is pretty standard.

Does anyone have any experience of the Disney Ink Shop (zazzle) as I've thought of ordering from there for my summer trip to DLP?!!!

That's how I accumulated my Collection of Evilâ„¢.

This is also why Disney needs to have a Disneyland Down Under. Yes, it's a cliched name, but we all know that's what they'd call it.

Wait...if they did that, then LibertyBelle wouldn't get anything done. She'd spend all her weekends taking her nephews there and eating ice cream and Churros. Her nephews would say "Again, auntie? We were JUST there last weekend! And yesterday! And the day before!", which Liberty would reply with "Yes, but we weren't there the OTHER days of the week!"

    Ahem.

All silliness aside, I think the last time I ever bought something from the site was during DL's 50th. If I remember, it was the Mansion lenticular pin set (cool), a Harmony Kingdom box with the Mansion's opera singers (very cool) and the "Here You Leave Today..." sign (Doobietastic).

The Mansion pin set consisted of 5 pins and featured Madame Leota "talking", a crown-wearing skull whose eyes stay after he disappears (a la the Cheshire Cat), a pop-up/Corridor of Doors picture ghost turning into another ghost and two of the morphing portraits. I think...it was Medusa and the Knight. I personally think they should have used all 5 morphing portraits, and the Master Gracey as a bonus 6th pin. I believe that DL actually did this last year or the year before, but as separate pins.

It just hasn't been the same without the catalog either, and now I wish I had kept the ones from 1992-1998; the quality in the early 90s is MUCH better than the ones in the late 90s/early 00s. I don't think I had anything between '99-2000 though. I remember when the catalog used to be issued 4 times a year. The first one I got in the mail was celebrating Beauty and the Beast...
