I noticed the "cool" ones were younger - probably teens. I was going to fill out a comment card but decided to just leave it alone. Is anyone else having these problems lately?

The response we got that made the most sense was that in late May / early June DL hires a lot of new CMs in anticipation of the busy summer season. They are new and do not know how to handle crowds or heat, etc. By early January the extra CMs that were hired in anticipation of the crazy Christmas season are seasoned pros and nothing phases them anymore. Like Hans said, a polite comment at Guest Services will make you feel better and might help the situation. I'd chalk it up to lack of experience with the teens. They'll either shape up by Fourth of July or become the 1000th ghost at the Haunted Mansion (just kidding).

It´s a privilege to be employed at DL, heck, if I worked there I´d probably scare people off with my excessive happiness!! (I´ve always dreamed of working at DL) I don´t know if I´m taking this issue too seriously, but I just think that it´s these little things that just shouldn´t happen. From the moment you cross the main turnstile, your experience should be fully satisfying.

Simply put, Disney asks more of its employees than many other places do that offer higher salaries.

Coming here after the fact is mostly pissing in the wind, so next time if you think something was bad enough to warrant comment, do it!
