There is no way I could ever get angry with my dog, she is just too darn cute. Even when she is trying to be mean, she's just too darn cute.

After that I took her for a long walk and let her explore the neighborhood on leash. Now why won't Disney let us bring pets with us to WDW? I have even considered wearing her accross my neck like Lilly Monster did with grandpa in that Monster movie, LOL.

And I make a bet she did a super job!

She was even tidy and well-behaved while being destructive--lol!

Yes, we were sporting our little pink dog around the neighborhood for a couple of weeks.

That's why we always crate the dogs when we leave the house now.

I have found that my dogs will be good when left home alone as long as I give them a couple of chewies when I leave.
But you should see the look Sk8R gets when he sees us packing. And he always knows if it is a trip where we are leaving him or taking him.
Good luck with your cutie Tom.

Dixie is a small yellow lab, everyone thinks she is still a puppy. I have never small yellow labs before in my life till we got Dixie. She was a pound puppy and she was found abandoned and feral. So she has abandondment issues. Not a big deal, she tends to only get angry when we both leave the house together, she has this pack mentality thing going as well. When KJ and I leave the house together to say go out to eat or something I always bring her back some left overs.

Her favorite foods in the world are #1 chicken in any form including raw ( she was feral afterall ) and #2 Anything with spagetti sauce on it. She loves garlic, LOL.

She does not like the basil in basil rolls so I'm safe when getting basil rolls. We do not cage or crate Dixie.... we use the minivan for that. And Dixie is very smart, She figured out how to use to push button to open the side sliding doors on the minivan one time when we were parking at Ikea. She got out and was running in circles in the underground parking. KJ was yelling at her trying to get her and yelling at me to help catch her. Meanwhile I was laughing so hard I nearly fell down. I simply got into the minivan and one lucky guess who jumped right in too, LOL.

Oh and she's a pointer too. She will actually lift her front leg and point.. its so funny.

In fact he usually is pretty worn out when we bring him home so we are able to transition from vacation to work more easily as he is so tired he doesn't demand much attention, content to just sleep at our feet.

Happy has a spot under the guest bed where he brings paper towels or tissues he swipes from the trash to shred into tiny little pieces. I clean it out every so often.

Oh dear, did you use the "straight" word? I'm not single. I have a Honda Accord. KJ drives a minivan. This is going to sound weird, but growing up I always enjoyed camping and have camped in some very remote areas throughout New England, the Canadian Maritime as well NY, PA and Walt Disney World. I have always wanted to get a VW Westphalia upon graduation from College. Well unfortunately I shacked up with someone who doesn't camping. KJ's idea of camping is staying at a Doubletree Hotel. Although The Doubletree Hotel Company does make some really nice upscale RVs. Anyway, never got the Westphalia. And we use to have a Chevy Blazer. KJ's parents were getting older and we had to step up to the plate and help them out with their migration patterns to/ from Virginia and North Carolina and they had difficulty climbing into the Blazer and there was no ventilation in the cargo area for the dogs. When it came time to replace the Blazer I convinced KJ to get a minivan, something he absolutely did not want to do. Of course once he drove it a couple times he fell in love with our Chysler Town and Country. We call it the Mystery Machine and yes we got the towing package. It does everything well, hauls cargo, people, lots of ventilation. After several of my brothers and sisters tried out our minivan they each got one. So now most of my family has minivans. We have decided that we will always have a minivan. When this one goes, we will get another. We are strong advocates of minivans. Our Town and Country gets much better mileage than our Blazer ever did. And its so darn comfortable on long trips. Heck, I drove it up to Chicago and back while attending a convention last May. And I drove back in one day.

I am so with KJ on this one. If God wanted us to camp, he wouldn't have created motels.

My parents had to ensure we had water hook-ups. My sister would even at a young age use all the hot water. Us boys usually ended up using the campgrounds public bathroom. Yay clean!
