Since this occurred during the longest break I had in my life from visiting Disneyland (1975 to 1989), I was wondering if anybody here remembers details of the promotion and if anyone received a prize.

I can recall at one of them the special familly or guest went up to a huge dream machine shaped like Mickey (gears) and got to find out what awesome gift they got! And there was a McDonalds tie in too where you could win passports off the drink cups tabs things. I got like 4 admissions that summer from McDonalds, they were easy to get. I'm really jogging my memeory back to when I was a in 6th grade.. Anyone else remember this?

But, 999HAUNTS, a ticket that said you weren't a winner? That's crazy. Were you upset? I can imagine some people were.

As guests entered through the turnstyles, everyone got a ticket. Some tickets detailed what you had won and others simply said "Sorry...".

Luckily, at the 30th, I won a large, plush Minnie & Mickey pair and at the 35th, I won a nice art poster of the Mardi Gras Parade.

I didn't win anything at Blast to the Past, so purchased the yo-yo and paddle-ball. (I LOVED that Blast to the Past!)

We let the kids pull the lever or spin it or whatever. During our vacation they won a Mickey plush (have a picture of our son sleeping with it at the DLH:), a walkman (I'm remembering that it was a red "kid" version) and a video of Sleeping Beauty which we already had but our DD acted thrilled and we gave it to my mom who was thrilled :)

Good times, thanks for bringing this up

The 30,000th guest would get a car. This would happen twice a day during busy days such as summer.

Also, we went for Easter one year, and since I was young enough I got to do an Easter egg hunt thing at the Big Thunder ranch area, I think. I won a 1 day ticket...that we couldn't use because it was the last day of our trip. So my Mom ended up selling it to a co-worker.

I won lots of pins, a couple boxes of popcorn and one time a Mickey Mouse watch. I also have a "I'm a Winner" button that came with the watch. It was lots of fun.

For the 35th, there was a much more elaborate gift giving aparatus in the hub, where the Partner's statue was. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v...=related
