I guess the real question is if they'll observe the anniversary of when it opened at the Worlds Fair in 1964, or when it opened in DL in 1966

I asked my 10 year old son about that plan, and he thought it was a fabulous idea...he said he would even go on it's a small ride if they did that, which is a pretty big deal since he hates that ride :)

Well, CC is half-good at following instructions ....

And Germany section? Ha! They're going to stuff that into the corner behind Cleopatra to make way for the Pixie Hollow Room.

Personally, I really hope that they don't do this sort of thing. Instead of going through the attraction and enjoying it, it becomes a hide-and-go-seek game with the personalized doll. Of course, if they did this, it wouldn't be limited to just one attraction, so it would be a whole bunch of them that would be altered for the worse

I think this whole interactivity push is in part related to the popularities of Hidden Mickeys that popped up about a decade ago. People began hunting down more details and in-jokes in the attractions, and Disney is just feeding guests what they think they want. But when your enjoyment of the attractionrelies on knowing about all the fun little details, the details just don't seem as fun any more

Sounds like you think just like the Imagineers! Time to apply for a new job?
