I just don't see it. It doesn't fit. It seems perfect at a park like DCA. But in comparison to how the Motorcars parade fit in with the themeing of the park, this parade loses. Horribly I might add. Second, this parade is corny. I hate to say it. I'm a teenager with a very large and open mind when it comes to things Disney as far as "family" entertainment goes, but I just can't take it. Could they find any music less than 20 years old? There has been good, kid-friendly party music made since the 80's and 70's. This parade with the music and emcees making comments the whole time just remind me of some lame carnival show for kids. I'm serious. As soon as the music started I immediatly thought of some silly little kids dance party at a carnival. And that dissapoints me. I really hate it when I dislike something Disney. I really do. But this is just an awful parade. I think they could do so much better. I will give the parade this, the floats are awesome! They really are. I wish other WDW parade floats were built with this much detail. Other than that, I think this was a bad decision. It seems so out of place at DHS. It almost seems like DHS has become less of an holly wood entertainment based park and more of a "Well it doesn't fit anywhere else, I guess we'll just plop it down in DHS" kind of park.

Everybody seems to think that it doesn't fit in DHS, but the parades never really fit in their park. This parade is no more about DCA than it is DHS. If anything, it's probably a better fit for the studios, but really, parades don't usually have that much of a connection to their respective parks. The Stars and Motor Cars parade definately fit with the theme pretty well, but I have a feeling that this will be more of a success, since it has a lot more "wow" factor than the previous one, which would best be described as a calvacade.

But benefit of doubt here, is it in preview mode?

It's not an awful parade, but not one of the best either. It's one of those one that once you have seen it, you have seen it.

But that tired thing really needed to go!!!

I’ve seen BPB at DCA easily over a dozen times and I love it. It is one of the best parades Disney has created (other than Tapestry of Nations). It breaks the Disney parade mold and brings the characters from the Pixar movies to life in an extraordinary way. I cannot wait to get to Florida again in a couple months to see it – hopefully a few times. It combines high-energy music, stage entertainment, acrobatics, multiple prop elements and high cast/guest interaction to bring a lot of life to the streets.

You can stand along side the street and watch the characters slowly drive by in cars like the old parade (boring and limited re-watch) or you can truly get energized and interact directly with the characters. I’m a huge supporter of this parade and when I heard this was coming to Florida I was beyond excited. I hope it sticks around for a while. It really fits the culture of DHS. I strongly support more parade originality and can’t wait to see what they do when they soon debut the Pixar Play Parade at DCA.

Now if they would just create a new original parade for Epcot and MK, we’d be set in Florida.

I hope to see again soon without camera and in a place where I am not in front of the Monsters Inc. (its the only unit I've been at the 2 times I've seen it)

With the addition of this parade, the upcoming Toy Story Mania and future American Idol the park will have seemingly added several higher energy experiences to go along with the adrenaline driven Tower of Terror, Rock N Roller Coaster as well as the exciting Lights Motors and adventurous Indiana Jones.

I'm interested to see what other additions Disney brings to the newly named park to showcase its new identity.

When they have to hold up cardboard signs that say "FUN" and "Scream" I totally crindge.

If the parade is good - I will groove to it on it's own merrits - like The Jammin Jungle Parade or Tapestry of Nations or EUREAKA! or Mickey's Halloween Parade, etc ... now THOSE were awesome parades.

Please tell me what's wrong with some nice parade music and just let the parade move along.

It has gorgous floats, fun costumes and great characters ... just let it be a parade please with no M.C. voice over telling people to have FUN...

I assume the Florida cast will get into it soon enough. I definitely thought they had less energy and the parade moved a lot slower. Hopefully they will get the fun of BPB soon enough.

Bingo. I saw the parade yesterday. "Painful" is the best way to explain it.

Now mind you, the floats are AMAZING looking. And the figures walking in the parade are some of the best I've ever seen - especially Boo and the walking stick guy from "Bug's Life."

But holy crap, the phony excitement, the blandization of already bland songs, the repetitive chanting of the drill sergeant...all while staring at cast members in their pajamas dancing to Kool & the Gang, well, it is just an awful way to spend 15 grueling minutes. My wife and I bailed, but unfortunately couldn't escape it.

    What a mess.
