    I watched the Travel Channel's presentation of Expedition Everest: Journey To Sacred lands last night. The show follows Joe Rohde to Nepal and China, the places that inspire all the elements that are present around the attraction. I must say, listening to him talk about the process of gathering research for the thrill ride was amazing; his passion for the project is very evident. I don't see the show on the schedule anytime again this week, but I highly recommend it if you didn't catch it.

    Have any of you long time Disneyphiles ever seen Disney put this much promotion into anything having to do with theme park rides. It is incredible how much PR this has gotten. The marketing department must be working overtime. I don't think that there will be a man, woman or child that will not be familier with this project by the time it is done.

    Joe would be a great host for an imagineering show. At least let someone like HIM introduce Wonderful World of Disney-type shows, as opposed to CEO's.

    Only the shows on Science and Discovery are essentially the same...though the airing on Discovery on the 12th apparently will include additional footage. Not sure of what. The Travel Channel and Animal Planet shows are different.

    Did you notice that he moves that thing (whatever it is) from earlobe to earlobe. Check it out-sometimes on the right sometimes on the left. What the heck is that thing?

    Other than the wacky earring-Joe is great. His enthusiasm and dedication to theming really shows in the attraction.
