There are characters sprinkled through the park for photo opportunities with special scenery (Stitch was in Tomorrowland with retro-futuristic foil Christmas trees one year), and generally short-ish waits (though Stitch was over 90 min that year). They run the Christmas Fantasy parade about half-way through the evening.

It's not the most thrilling evening ever, but it's a really nice way to get on a bunch of attractions with minimal waits and just be in a crowd that really appreciates DL. The overall atmosphere was very much like on 7/17/05, where everybody was just really happy to be there. There's not too much out of the ordinary that goes on, but there is always that chance of getting your photo with Ed Grier in front of Main Street Station with a candy cane!

The managers had to call in Security as they refused to listen to our instructions and were swearing and yelling at the CM's trying to help them out of boats. Some of their Burbank employee ID cards were pulled, but most of them just pushed past us and told us where to go as they went back into the park to enjoy the rest of the party.

The "cool vibe" generally only extends to fellow Anaheim CM's. Many folks from Burbank just look at it as a free night in a theme park, and they get cranky if they have to wait more than 5 minutes for anything or something breaks down. It ain't one big, happy family up there in Burbank apparently.

Also, every CM in attendance gets a free Christmas tree ornament.
