Originally Posted By Lisann22 It was a huge upset in our family when my parents and godparents first decided they wanted to take their kids to DL for Christmas when I was about 11 or 12. Woo boy. However, our family is HUGE, so in order to let families go to their in-laws or take trips we now have the BIG family gathering always the Saturday before Christmas. Then everyone is free do other family visits, activities, vacations, trips on the actual holiday. I like being home when I have a real home but being here in JoJah, I'm enjoying taking advantage of the ability to travel. We went home for Thanksgiving, could not afford to go back to Cali again in December.
