    I did work at WDW on Christmas Day back when I was on the College Program. Actually, I spent Christmas morning at home in Ft Lauderdale and got back up to Orlando in time for my late shift.

    I'm always at home or at the home of a family member. I'm at WDW for Thanksgiving every-other year. But Christmas is home and family. One year it might be fun to take a family vacation to Tahoe or Hawaii for Christmas.

But my grandparents on both sides wouldn't consider not being home on Christmas, and there was the other extended relatives who came over for dinner, so it could never be worked out without causing too much of upset and commotion. And by the time they'd all passed away, my brother and I had wives and in-laws to consider, so it was never going to happen.

    It was a huge upset in our family when my parents and godparents first decided they wanted to take their kids to DL for Christmas when I was about 11 or 12. Woo boy.

    However, our family is HUGE, so in order to let families go to their in-laws or take trips we now have the BIG family gathering always the Saturday before Christmas.

    Then everyone is free do other family visits, activities, vacations, trips on the actual holiday.

    I like being home when I have a real home but being here in JoJah, I'm enjoying taking advantage of the ability to travel. We went home for Thanksgiving, could not afford to go back to Cali again in December.
