A new ride in the paradise pier area called “midway madnessâ€, which will be a dark ride with 3d movie technology. (see many threads for more detail)

A show to replace Aladdin, which looks like it will be Beauty and the Beast. I was personally hoping for a new show.

    A “High School Musical†show also.

Alladin eplacement was just a rumor, new castmembers are being auditioned and will be trained to continue the show for awhile still.

If you are looking into what will come to DCA within the next two years you should expect.

Midway Madness which will be built in Paradise pier behind Screamin with an entrance approximately located where the photo location is.

A nighttime lagoon show for DCA which will debut sometime in 2007 or 2008.

placemaking and upgrade in theming in the paradise pier area maybe including a piece of route 66.

There is still an "e" ticket on the agenda for late 2008 early 2009. Decisions are still being made.

The tentative schedule is to debut sometime January and last to approximately march or april. At this point it would be a seasonal event. things could change though.

I think the part with the tunnels/lifts also changed slightly, using blue lights on the first lift and an new video on the second one. I think they also lit up some of the props that were added in the last rehab, like the "exploding" asteroid between lifts 2 and 3.

Anybody know if RnR Coaster is on the way? - seems a bit odd to have a Hollywood-themed ride in Florida and not in the LA-area theme park.

Are you talking about a "CARS" makeover in Route 66? What would happen to Golden Dreams?
