The ride is now once again refered to as the Peoplemover like it was pre-1994

The ride now uses the Goodyear Monorail song (made famous at Disneyland in the 1960s)

The new narration is more in line with the older 1970s and 1980s narration rather than the themed 1994 sci fi retro narration

If that's true, that's very dissapointing. But it didn't sound that way during the entire recording, so perhaps it's a recording echo of some sort by the person who made it.

However, the use of the name "Peoplemover" is very encouraging and welcome as is using the original Monorail theme. A major plus there. The use of Disney characters seemed rather minimal, only when going near or through that attraction giving a one or two line 'plug' for their attractions. (Like Stitch for Stitch's Great Escape, Buzz Lightyear for Space Ranger Spin). That I can live with. It's not that intrusive and mildly plugs the attractions in question. Overall, the new narration isn't that bad from what I could tell. I just hope that the lisp is just feedback on the audio...

And for all of you that cannot stand change, I'm sure glad that you weren't in charge of bathroom facilities since the mid 18 hundreds. :)There would still be trenches in the streets.

Regardless, it sounds like they are going retro and back to the way it originally was. So those that couldn't handle change back then are given a gift. I really wouldn't be surprised if it ends up completely different then what we just heard when it is all complete anyway.

I didn't notice Tom Morrow, but I kinda just skipped through. Really hard to hear much of anything.

That's right. Changing the spiel on the PeopleMover is akin to modern plumbing.

    Got it.

    (grumbling) everybody's a frickin' comedian.

There are some gaps, mostly after the speedway, into space where a female voice says "pardon the space dust as we enhance our space port" or something like that... it is still silent in the dome aside from people working in the exit queue and cars on the track.

As you leave it is still silent till you reach the entrance for space where he talks about the astro orbitor... There isn't even a mention from the lawyers about keeping your arms and hands in the vehicle when heading into the parallel section towards and from space mountain.

It sounds like they are still finishing the positions of the sound and such, and Mickey sounds like the new voice to me..
