From someone I talk to who works in Disney entertainment over at WDW and the magic kingdom (yet another CM, but someone who I would believe more than this city hall person) is that Magic Kingdom was to get a new daytime parade in 2007. That is what I was told. There would also be updates and refreshening to Spectromagic as well. take this all with a grain of salt, of course. As cheap as WDW is with their entertainment, I still don't believe that Share a Dream will last much longer than a year or so. 2011 and the whole contracts thing doesn't sound right from what I was told.

Tapestry was nice when they first premiered it but then screwed it up for the 100 yrs celebration and got shrunk in the process, so it didn't feel like it "unified" all of World Showcase, but only a portion of it. The friend we know--who used to be a part of it all--said so many of the former cast members of Tapestry were looking forward to something NEW and DIFFERENT--instead of the same, tired old parade. There's no exact word as to when it will make its come-back. But, for those ducklings who would like to see it again, you'll eventually have your chance.
