If I step up first and ask the load-monitoring CM for the service, will that work. Kinda sounds like a dumb question, but I've never seen where/who controls the speed. This is Mom's first visit ever and I want her to be comfortable and safe with jumpin' into these two attractions. Thanks!

Since it's dark in there CM's don't always see that she's using a cane (which, thankfully she only has to use during those long days at the DLR) so I've learned to approach loading and unloading CM's to let them know mom needs a little more time to maneuver. No problem! I think they have some sort of remote because each time I've approached them it looks like they're reaching in their pocket and pushing a button or something and the creep mode starts.

When we did a HM walkthrough one night after closing Auto, the CM that took us through also carried a remote, which was a good thing as maintenance kept turning on the doombuggies, and our friend was able to keep turning them off until we were safely away. Also, though it is dark inside, the CMs inside have been in that dark environment much longer than the Guests and their eyes are typically quite dilated--they see pretty well. In fact, they see all!

We're expecting to get into Anaheim around noon on May 3 if you'll be back around. What kind of show is your sis putting on?
