Now to be fair there are some on each list that I would agree with him on.

The man is obviously insane though. He has Gran Torino listed under "bad".

And yes, he loves to be a contrary cur. Trashing what most critics like (and not-so-subtly hinting that the fact that they like it means they're bad critics, while he's a good one who sees this piece of crap for what it is), and praising what most critics trash (and not-so-subtly hinting that the fact that they don't like it means they're bad critics, who can't see this unappreciated piece of Film for what it is).

    He's annoying as hell.

The words smug and arrogant come to mind.

I can only assume from the comments that he's found a niche trashing stuff...he's not the only one.

Maybe he can find another line of work, like editing crappy films and making them better or something.

There's always a critic, anyway. Hell, I've read "bad reviews" of The Godfather and Beethoven's 6th. Go figure.

I even found a Facebook page entitled "A tale of two cities SUCKS", comprising 16 members talking about "the most horrific book in the world".

    There's always a critic.

But in reading his review of the film with all his pretentiousness and him clearly having a thesaurus readily available to be as obnoxious as possible. I noticed that he misunderstood the title of the movie itself which is quite clearly explained in the the closing scenes. I really do enjoy Mr. White and hope he doesn't go away any time soon, far too entertaining.
