I think the music stayed more or less the same, but the projections made much better use of the mapping projection capabilities. They did more of the kinds of visuals that they do for the Magic Kingdom Cinderella Castle mapping projection shows. There's a good sampling of what they did in a video the Parks Blog posted awhile back. And, I'm sure there's some videos on YouTube with this year's show. I can't answer whether they are still doing the projection show now that the Christmas season has officially ended, as I have been fighting a bug and unable to get down to the parks.

I think part of it is the dread of having to undo everything I worked so hard to create in the first place, and just wanting to get it done sooner rather than later.
