I was somewhat out of it when I saw them tow my beloved away. I'm basically okay, which is a miracle considering he hit me once, then I spun a couple of times before he broadsided me which sent me spinning off again. I drove out of the last spin and *then* I fell apart, lol. The scariest part was seeing that grill in my face come through the window -- EEEEK!! I was in the emergency room until 4:00 with all the trauma cases and they told me it might be more than an hour before the got to see me (I had already done the intake exam). So I left and will see my doc on Monday. I've got a wallapalloosa of a headache and my neck shoulders and back are stiffenning up - small change compared to what might have happenned if I spun off the bridge we were on, thank goodness. So, I guess that solved my problem of whether or not to keep my z :-( I'm thanking goodness that I came out of this, whew.

He sees a chiropractor who comes to the CPL campus regularly. I'll give them a call to see when she's available and have him checked out. I have stretching excecises that I do with him and he doesn't seem to be having any pain as yet. He's eating and drinking normally. However, he still is trembling from time to time and is also panting which indicates stress. He's probably reflecting my state of mind. Boy, I wish dogs could talk...
