Thank You Disney for taking my wishes, and health into consideration. May I suggest cutting out meat altogether so I could load up on veggies.

Why waste Prime Rib if a different cut will give you more meat per smaller portion equal to what is being served now with PR. I always had a problem with prime rib on a buffet for that reason (can't say that I ever complained about it though) A small amount doesn't give one a very satisfying serving of beef. If I take too much and also sample other items something ends up being thrown out. So if that is how they cut cost by cutting down on waste, I can't say I'm against that. Is that enough management apologists for everyone? In this case, however, I am agreeing not apologizing. There is a difference even if it isn't recognizable to everyone.

I can eat Prime Rib "anywhere," so-to-speak. So, on one hand it doesn't really bother me that they are taking out that cut, but I can see how it is a cost-cutting move too and can understand why others might have a beef about such a move.

I'm also aware that paying the bills is getting more difficult by the day. That being said it isn't really about if I do/don't eat it @ the buffet or mind a substitute. The price of prime rib is factored into the price you pay for the meal. If you are changing that part of the equation either be up front about it & explain why, lower the price or show me how you're going to give me a bigger bang for my buck to replace what you are taking away. We haven't been to 'Ohana's since they substituted the shrimp with the sausage. My husband just wouldn't go as a matter of principal. It's back on the menu so guess where we're going Monday night? I did voice a complaint and wonder how many others did as well and if that is why it is back. Who knows. The bottom line here (& I know this is going to sound rather heavy for a WDW forum) is lack of respect. It's in every aspect of our day to day lives anymore. People who see themselves in potions of power feel they are "entitled" to alter, eliminate or short change things that affect those around them without as much as an explaination & than lie about what they've done & why. I'm aware there are some folks out there that can't find their backsides with a flashlight & a map, but most of us are smart enough to know when were being fleeced. Be HONEST with me, OMG I can't believe my computer let me type that word(I'm also having an issue with Hewlett Packard right now). OK I'm done.
