91 percent? Wow, that's waaaaay above the national average of 63.9 percent, based on figures from a recent report. I really don't understand why Disney isn't taking advantage of the demand for rooms in Anaheim by building more hotels.

See Al's update re: Anaheim Gardenwalk. There WERE going to be some Disney hotels there, but .....

The economy isn't going to be in the dumps forever.

Not surprised about GardenWalk. From the mediocre list of national chain establishments and the bland architecture I predicted last year that that place wouldn't be much of a draw. Hopefully they can figure out a formula for that place that works.

Garden Walk is just like an other ordinary Entertainment Mall.

The region did not need another one with two others within a few miles of each other. (DtD, and The Block).

If they offered some unique offerings no others have .. then perhaps people would have taken note.

Plus ... what the city needs is a light rail (ELEVATED) system .. with a stop right at Garden Walk.

It's those "little-O" features that get people to notice it.

The whole project just seems like an effort to make money rather than giving tourists and locals something that they could treasure.
